11-4 Graphing Equations
TEK 5.4C: Generate a numerical patter when given a rule in the form of y = ax or y = x + a and graph.

In this lesson you are going to tie everything together and as a final activity create a booklet matching equation, input/output table, and graph for six different algebraic equations.

Lesson: Watch the following four Khan Academy videos. Record the energy points earned for each video on your recording sheet.
  1. Graphing Patterns on Coordinate Plane
  2. Interpreting Patterns on Coordinate Plane
  3. Interpret Relationships Between Pattern
  4. Practice: Tables from Rules that Relate Two Variables
  5. Practice: Write Rules that Relate Two Variables
Classwork: Page 593 in textbook, problems 4, 5, 6.  Use the teacher's manual for grading this work.  If you did not get a 100, bring your work to Mrs. Watkinson for reteaching.

Homework: Pages 595-596, problems 1-5, 7.  Grade your homework and record on recording sheet.

Skill Check: Make a booklet (use two sheets of computer paper folded in half).  Match the equation, the table, and the graph from the yellow handout which is in independent study binder. Take your work to Mrs. Watkinson for grading.
