Play the Working With a Simple Budget Game
Instructions:
- Get a recording sheet from the packet of materials for section 16-5.
- Get a packet of Job Cards and Expense cards (there are enough cards in one packet for 8 students to share).
- Randomly select one job card.
- Randomly choose three expense cards
- Use these four cards to complete one section of the recording sheet (you may not use a calculator).
- Repeat steps 1-3 with different cards until you have a total of 4 sections on the recording sheet completed.
- Exchange papers with a classmate who will use a calculator to check your work.
- Record your grade as a classwork grade.
