Topic 11 Ordered Pairs and the Plane
Introduction
This is an independent study unit based on the Pearson Realize Topic 11 Test which we used as a pretest. The test identified the areas in which you need more practice. Begin each day of the independent study with this Introduction page.
Watch this MathAntics video introducing the coordinate plane. In 5th grade, we will use only Quadrant I (you need to watch this video only one time).
After completing the two activities below, go to the specific sections you need to practice. Each section tells what you need to complete for classwork and homework. After you complete the work in each section, see Mrs. Watkinson before moving to the next section. Classwork and homework grades will be recorded for all assigned work.
You will record all grades on the Independent Study Topic 11 Recording Sheet. All work is to be placed in your folder in your class crate after recording your grades.
Each lesson is expected to be completed in 24 hours.
When you have completed all required work, you will retest on Topic 11.
